DAILY ITINERARY

DAY 1 : Toronto or Montreal • Athens

 

Days 2-3: Athens.

Transfer to your hotel for 1 or 2 nights in Athens (B)

 

Days 4-7: Athens - Mykonos.

Transfer by high speed/ferry for 3 or 4 nights in Mykonos (B)

 

Days 8-11: Mykonos - Santorini.

Transfer by high speed/ferry for 3 or 4 nights in Santorini (B)

 

Day 12: Santorini - Athens - Canada (B).

Transfer by air to the Athens airport for your return flight to Canada

ATHENS

The Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum

See Athens’ main attractions, starting with the Panathenaic Stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games. Visit

the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Arch of Hadrian, the National Library of Greece, Syntagma Square and more

before continuing to the Acropolis. Last stop: the New Acropolis Museum, voted third-best museum in the world.

Order of visits is subject to change.

Delphi & Meteora

Day 1 Leave for Delphi via Thebes, Lebadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, then upon arrival in Delphi,

visit the archaeological site. Continue on to Kalambaka and overnight. (D)

Day 2 Visit Meteora and two of its ancient monasteries, then head back to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and

Thermopylae. (B)

REMARKS

• Travellers should always cover their shoulders and legs when visiting some religious sites.

• In Europe, hotel rooms are generally smaller than in North America. There are rarely two double beds in a room. Triple rooms usually feature one double bed and one single bed or three single beds or one double bed and one foldaway bed or two single beds and one foldaway bed.

• Some types of sports equipment, including golf bags, etc., are not accepted in the rooms. They have to be kept in a specific area, which is usually locked.

• All hotels provide towels; some do not offer face cloths.

• In most European countries the voltage is 220V.
