Please Note: "Your Way Tours" allow you to discover a city at your leisure, but with the comfort of knowing that a guide will assist you with connections between cities as well as getting to and from your transportation and accommodations. As with typical tours, a guide will accompany you by coach from one city to another, but the moment you check into your hotel, you’re on your own to explore your destination to your heart’s content!

 

DAILY ITINERARY

 

Day 1: 1 Toronto • Rome

Direct flight to Rome.

 

Day 2 Rome

Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Orientation tour of Rome to see St. Peter’s Basilica (exterior) and the Colosseum (exterior) in the afternoon.

Days 3-4 Rome

Two days at leisure in the Eternal City. Optional tours available. (BB)

Day 5 Rome • Florence (320 km)

Depart for Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Upon arrival, stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for wonderful panoramic photos. The rest

of the day is at leisure. (BB)

Days 6-7 Florence

Two days at leisure. Optional tours available. (BB)

Day 8 Florence • Venice (320 km)

After breakfast, depart for the Venice area. Check in to your hotel for your three-night stay. (BB)

Day 9 Venice

In the morning, walk a few steps to St. Mark’s Square for a guided tour to the Bridge of Sighs, Byzantine basilica and the Doge’s Palace.

REMARKS

• Travellers should always cover their shoulders and legs when visiting some religious sites.

• In Europe, hotel rooms are generally smaller than in North America. There are rarely two double beds in a room. Triple rooms usually feature one double bed and one single bed or three single beds or one double bed and one foldaway bed or two single beds and one foldaway bed.

• Some types of sports equipment, including golf bags, etc., are not accepted in the rooms. They have to be kept in a specific area, which is usually locked.

• All hotels provide towels; some do not offer face cloths.

• In most European countries the voltage is 220V.
